Respite Care

Allows family caregivers time to rest and recharge.

Respite care gives families a chance to rest or take care of other responsibilities while ensuring their loved one continues to receive attentive support. It includes help with daily routines, meals, and personal care, along with companionship and supervision to keep your loved one engaged and comfortable.

Care is tailored to each person, following familiar routines and providing the level of support they are used to. Whether it’s assisting with personal tasks, accompanying them to appointments, or simply offering a reassuring presence, respite care helps families feel confident that their loved one is well cared for.

Who Respite Care Is For

Respite care is for family members, spouses, and friends who are the primary caregivers:

    • Adult children balancing caregiving with work and their own families
    • Spouses caring for a partner with chronic illness or disability
    • Anyone feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or on the edge of burnout
    • Families who need regular weekly breaks or occasional coverage for trips
