Memory Care
Keeps daily life safe, calm, and engaging for those with memory loss.
Supporting a loved one through Alzheimer’s or Dementia is a journey filled with both tender moments and very real challenges. Memory loss, confusion, and changing behaviors require more than just help with daily tasks. They require a caregiver who can respond with calm, patience, and respect.
Our caregivers receive specialized training in memory care. We learn techniques to gently redirect agitation, reduce anxiety, support routines, and create meaningful engagement throughout the day. Our goal is to bring comfort, familiarity, and peace into the home for both the individual and the family who loves them.
Our Approach to Memory Care
The right support brings fresh peace into the home: fewer moments of frustration, more moments of connection, and a renewed sense of safety.
That means:
-
- We meet your loved one where they are, not where they used to be
- We move slowly, speak calmly, and never rush
- We look for moments of joy and connection, even on hard days
- We support the whole family, not just the individual
What Memory Care Looks Like
Memory care is tailored to where your loved one is in their journey. We focus on what they can still do, enjoy, and participate in, not on what’s been lost.
Engaging Conversation & Reminiscence Activities
Talking through old memories, looking at photos, or listening to familiar music are activities that bring comfort and connection.
Gentle Redirection & Reassurance
Calm, patient responses during moments of confusion or distress help your loved one feel safe and grounded.
Safe Supervision
Attentive monitoring to prevent wandering, falls, or unsafe behaviors while maintaining independence where possible.
Cognitive Stimulation
Puzzles, crafts, hobbies, music, or simple tasks that keep the mind engaged without causing frustration.
Support with Daily Routines
Consistent help with meals, personal care, and daily activities creates structure and predictability.
Creating a Calm Environment
Reducing clutter, noise, and overstimulation to help your loved one feel at ease in their own home.
Coordination with Family & Care Plans
Working closely with families to honor preferences, routines, and care goals.
Pricing & Scheduling
